FUN TIMES!

Zackary, bless his little heart, hates to wear clothes. Jakob never once took off his own clothes until he was about 2 years old. But this little guy here, he figured out how to take off his shirts before he could walk. I know, it could be worse...such as him pooping in his diaper and climbing on the furniture with only the poop on his rear, saying, "poopy", "poopy", before anyone notices he's messed his pants.
This picture below is him talking to his Dad. Zack has finally started talking more, especially when he talks to Dad on the phone. The other pic is Jakob talking to Dad on the phone. Jakob is my talker and can talk on that phone forever!

Jakob has a friend, Ella. Ella's mom, Shannon, is one of my bestest friends! Ella is 4 and like any other little girl, loves to play dress up. Jakob likes to play with Ella because he gets to do a lot of imaginary play. This time Jakob really wanted to see what it was like to wear a dress :).

The first time he put a dress on it was the one that Ella has on in this picture. Jakob didn't think it was too bad. But when he put this "princess" dress on, it wasn't so comfortable.


Luckily, just when you start to worry about the kid, he pulls one of these finger in the nose thing and you know he's going to be alright after all.

These are my kids and Shannon's kids. Shannon's are the two in the middle. They are the cutest!!

Today we went to Provo to visit the Shilligs and Palmers (with hopes of visiting Ben and Ashly Rasmussen). We started out at Chucky Cheese with the Shilligs. Jake is an ROTC student BYU and we met them while living in Arizona. Caroline is so much fun and a great friend who always inspires me! She is like me and likes to talk :).

Jakob had a lot of fun hanging out with Jake. He thought it was cool to hang out with someone who had the same name as him. Amie Lark is the girl in the picture with him. Apparently Jakob was quite the little gentleman with her and was very helpful in the little jungle gym are.

After Chucky Cheese we headed over to the Palmers and Jakob and Zackary got to jump on their trampoline. The pic below is Jakob having a good time! We were sad to find out that Holden, their youngest boy was in the hospital with pnemonia and we had to cut our visit short. Fortunately, he was able to leave the hospital today.
