Jakob turned 3 last month. It's hard to believe it's been 3 years already. We had a little party for him. He was pretty much in a bad mood all day but as soon as his friends showed up he lightedned up. We've been reading this Tomas the Tank Engine book about birthdays and in the story Thomas wants a party with "silly hats". Jakob too, wanted "silly hats".
Because we have been "borrowing" house hold goods from the military we were limited on the type of cake we made. This pan was our only baking dish, but Jakob didn't care. All he was interested in was getting to eat the cake and ice cream.
