Our Home

Well, here is our home. The 3rd floor of course. We are very fortunate that there was a place available on the end of a building so that we could have the extra windows. The far right picture is Jakob standing in his bedroom with a bed that was lent to us from the military. The other two pictures are of our living room/dining room. It's all one room. Yes, it's pretty small. You can see the windows to the basement of the building; that's where the laundry is located.

You house looks identical to the one we lived in, although ours was only a 2 bedroom apartment. It's nice to see pictures, although it makes me miss Germany.

I forgot to mention, we had that exact same dining table while we lived there, that same one, the furniture you borrow was made my inmates. In some of the furniture there is a paper explaining so. Our dresser had one in it, nice huh? lol

SUCH A CUTE DINING TABLE! I WISH WE COULD HAVE DINNER IN YOUR LIVING ROOM/DINING ROOM :)

It brings back memories. I recognize the layout (though not the one our two apartments had). At least it has wood floors. The furniture looks the same, too.

This is exactly what ours looked like when we lived in Heidelberg 20 years ago. At that point we could have the one room on the top floor as well though, so I was 13 years old living up in the maids quarters by myself. It rocked. My dad ran an intercom line from my windown down into the house. Very high tech for the time. :-)
